Well looks like I'm going to try for Friday updates. Gives me all week uninterrupted to work on new strips. Next Friday will likely be posted on Thursday though since I shall be away from civilization for a few days on a snowboarding trip. Yeehaw.
Enjoy this week's introduction to the little one who shall require said Battlefield Babysitting. aaaand his momma.
(P.S. One of these days I have got to learn how to do lettering. Guh)
(REVISED page. I somehow lost some narrative and dialogue when I saved this before. Fixed the missing stuff)

I'm so glad to see a new page Matt! Looks lovely. The mother character seems very genuine. The only thing I saw that was a little off was the phrasing of the first box. The way it is worded makes it sound like it is her father's old partner and her father's old wife (a.k.a. ex-wife). I'm pretty sure you meant her father's old partner and HIS (the partners) wife. Other than that, it really looks great!
Dang, I just realize that a couple of layers must have been left invisible when I saved this as a jpg. There's a narrative box and a dialogue bubble missing. I'll fix it tomorrow and reupload the image.
Thank you Melody. =D
Oh! and by the way, I posted a link to your blog on the zuda forums. Hope you don't mind.
Looking great!
If your interested in lettering, I recommend "The DC Comics Guide to Coloring and Lettering Comics".
I found it very informative. Pretty much anything you need to know about it is in there.
ah, now it is perfect. ^_^
You seem like the self-sufficient sort, but I'm the sort to offer anyway, so here it is:
I'll gladly volunteer to letter the book for you. If you need to see any examples of my letter-work, just go over to http://www.aberrantpress.com/Super.html and browse through a few pages...
Either way, dig the strip and am looking forward to seeing where it goes.
Is there a tear at the corner of her eye in the second to the last box or is that a blip in my comps download?
-- Xandra. That is indeed a tear. Does mommy know something we don't? Dun dun duuuuuuuuuuun. *dramatic music*
